Amy Prihoda

Amy Prihoda is the co-owner of Professional Carpet & Professional Restoration Systems. These days, her primary focus is the growth and development of the company. She works closely with her team to ensure a positive client experience to enable the company to continue to grow. However, Amy is not afraid to get her hands dirty — sometimes, you will see her in the field helping her team to get the job done and ensuring a happy client service experience.

She attended Western Connecticut State University and obtained her Bachelor in Business Studies in Management Information Systems. While in school, Amy worked for Ridgefield Savings Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager. Upon graduation, she began her career as an IT Auditor with Deloitte, traveling to various businesses throughout the United States to determine IT Controls and how to improve processes. While her position at Deloitte was very fulfilling, Amy realized that it did not completely address her family goals or career aspirations. This triggered her to move from her corporate world position and return to the family business in 2002.

Since returning to the family business, Amy has worked to develop systems to help the company operate more efficiently. She has also worked to create marketing content to grow the business and train business development and inside sales team members. She enjoys speaking with clients to understand how their service experience was. Amy lives in Oxford with her husband, Rob, and daughter, Skylar. Their son, Giovanni also lives locally. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, cooking, and traveling.
